(More customer reviews)I ordered these to use in a beverage fountain I ordered from elsewhere (sadly that was broken, no time to replace before the party) but I still used them in a pitcher of OJ at the breakfast table. It kept the OJ nicely cold. These would also be perfect in a milk pitcher, or for any drink that you do not want watered down by regular ice. I think it would have been perfect to keep punch cold in a fountain, and will try next time. The cubes are frosty white and several hues of blue. They are slightly rounded and seem very well made. The Amazon seller store was very quick to ship and they arrived well packaged. The container is nice for storage and for popping in the freezer door for chilling. A nice item for a dorm freezer if you have a child going to college. You will need several packs if you are going to use them in everyone's drink at a party or for a cooler. I think CoolBlues are a good deal and very useful item for any home!

(More customer reviews)I purchased these recently due to not being able to break the ice out of an ice cube tray one night, don't ask! Anyway, turns out these are really great; they freeze solid and hold their cold while you're using them in your drinks. I just rinse them off after using them and toss them back into the freezer the next morning. So glad I tried them, no more fighting with ice cube trays! I highly recommend them, and even wonder why I never tried them before now.

(More customer reviews)I've had this product for 7 months. I've used it regularly & had absolutely no problems at all with it. Except for the initial start up (which only lasts a couple of minutes) it runs quietly. It makes ice fast, the first batch is usually ready within 5-10 minutes and each successive batch takes about 4-6 minutes on medium sized cubes.
I use the medium sized cube setting, though there isn't a lot of difference between the 3 sizes. The ice will be wet because this is an ice maker, not a freezer. This isn't a problem if you are going to use the ice right away. It comes with a handy little scoop too. If you want to store the ice for later use, you will need to freeze it before adding it to an ice dispenser. I just pour the ice into gallon sized zipper freezer bags & stash them away. It's simple to separate the cubes after they've hardened up a bit. I usually pour them into the ice dispenser in my refrigerator freezer at that point.
I bought this ice maker because we have a big family & lots of guests and our ice maker in the refrigerator freezer has trouble keeping up with demand. This is the perfect solution. You can make ice quickly as needed or make it & store it ahead of time.
We keep it out on the counter all the time. Most people think it's a bread maker. I have found it to be quick, quiet & dependable. I'm very satisfied with it. For the money spent on it (less than $200 including shipping) I consider it one of the best appliance investments I've ever made.

(More customer reviews)Refilling ice cube trays day in and day out over the spring and summer gets kinda irritating and quite frustrating when only one person seems to be the only one refilling them... me. But it looks like I came up with the best solution for us, these babies!
Not only are they reusable over and over, they actually last a bit longer then regular ice. That and they don't dilute your drinks in the process. These are even small enough to fit into most water bottles!
Cleaning them is a snap, just a little bit of mild soap and warm water! Blot them dry with a towel and toss them back in their container in the freezer until next time.
Now there was one thing I was worried about with these and that was taste... most items like this have a nasty plastic taste that takes weeks (if not months) to get rid of. But to my surprise there wasn't one!
Keep your drinks cold, looking cool, and not watery and get yourself some of these before summer comes around!
Pros:
Cheap!
They don't leach a plasticy taste or smell into your drink.
Small enough to fit most water bottles.
Look really cool in most drinks.
Comes with their own reusable storage container.
Cons:
Made in China.

(More customer reviews)Bought this at Target a few weeks back after I noticed it was on sale for 109.00. Been wanting one for a long time, but didnt really want to spend 200+ on one. So far so good, Small, pumps out ice quickly, we use Ice in everything we drink, so it keeps right up with us. I would have given this 5 stars but the only issue I have with this, is that its very noisy. When the tray lifts up to drop the ice into the basket the elevation noise is quite loud. but have gotten used to it I think :0.. Friends of ours have several different brands of these ranging in high and low pricing, and for the money, they are all the same.. I would recommend this product without a doubt.
